Germany: Our Partner - Forschungszentrum Jülich
Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) pursues cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research on societal challenges. With its competence in physics, materials science, nanotechnology, simulations and information technology, as well as in the biosciences and brain research, Jülich is developing the basis of the key technologies of tomorrow.
FZJ is also breaking new ground in the form of strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions and industry. With more than 5,500 employess, Jülich – a member of the Helmholtz Association – is one of the largest interdisciplinary research centres in Europe.
FZJ is contributing to the SINE2020 work packages in the following ways,
In Jülich:
- Chemical Deuteration on polymers
- Detectors
At the MLZ in Garching in the Jülich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS):
- Crystal Growth
- Data Treatment
