The SINE2020 Coordination team
ILL is the coordinating organisation. It is an international research centre at the leading edge of neutron science and technology, having long-standing experience with European projects.
Project Coordinator
Martin Böhm is the coordinator of SINE2020. He is an instrument scientist in the spectroscopy group of the ILL, operating different neutron spectrometers in close collaboration with external research groups for over 15 years. He is expert in neutron instrumentation and has participated in different instrument (FlatCone, Vacbox, IMPS) and software projects (vTAS). As project leader of the new neutron spectrometer ThALES he coordinated an international team of university and industrial partners.
Project Manager
Miriam Förster is the project manager of SINE2020 and has managed both NMI3 and NMI3-II projects before. She has been involved in EU project management since the Framework Programme 5 (2002) and is currently Head of the EU-office at the ILL.
Science Communications Manager
Lucy Moorcraft is the SINE2020 information manager, based at the FRM II, Germany. She has 4 years experience working in Marketing and Recruitment at a UK university and previous experience as a school science teacher and designing and delivering public engagement and outreach projects. Her background is in Chemistry and she studied for a PhD in Dye-Sensitised Solar Cells at The University of Edinburgh.
