Laboratoire Léon Brillouin

The LLB (Laboratoire Léon Brillouin) is a joint research laboratory run by the Commissariat à
l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA) and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) located in Saclay near Paris. Their medium flux 1980 Orphee reactor has 25 operating spectrometers and provides hot and cold neutrons.

LLB are contributing to the SINE2020 work packages in the following ways:

  • in-situ NMR measurements in Sample Environment
  • Advanced School support for E-learningand Schools
  • Deuteration tasks
  • Micromegas detectors in Instrumentation: Detectors
  • Data Anlaysis for tomography Data Treatment
  • High-energy neutron transport codes in Instrumentation: E-tools
  • Support for Industry
