Neutrons: Cradle to Grave workshop - slides and videos available
14/12/2016Slides and videos of the talks given at the workshop are now available online. The workshop focused on requirements/developments for a (bidirectional) Monte Carlo variance reduction method applied to neutron beamline transport systems. read more
MCPL: a new format that simplifies data interchange between applications
13/12/2016A team launched the first version of Monte Carlo Particle Lists. This new, open source format makes it simpler to interchange particle-state information data between popular Monte Carlo simulation packages, making the work of developers more efficient. read more
Improving the fitting in Mantid for neutron and muon data
05/12/2016A team is working on improving the fitting of neutron and muon data in Mantid. They developed a framework for comparing fitting minimizers targeted to serve Mantid users, but whose results are transferrable to other neutron and muon data treatment software. read more
